Concentrate, Isolate and Hydrolysate

Whey is the liquid left over when milk is made into cheese, and it is a complete protein with all the essential amino acids. Concentrate is the least processed form and keeps a little more fat and lactose. Isolate is filtered further, leaving more protein per scoop. Hydrolysate has been partly broken down into smaller pieces, and is often described as faster to absorb. This product combines all three, and states that the concentrate is ultra-filtered. See isolate vs concentrate vs hydrolysate and hydrolyzed whey for faster absorption.

Protein and Muscle

Protein contributes to growth and maintenance of muscle mass, which is the claim made for this product. A scoop providing 23.4g of protein is one convenient way to help reach a daily target alongside whole foods. Results depend on your overall diet and training.

This section describes whey protein in general. It is ingredient-level information, not clinical evidence on this finished product, and no study of Elev Whey Gold itself is cited.
